Hi, my name is Grainne. Éalú is my little escape. I hope it can be yours too. I started working towards Éalú Candles in September 2022. I am a mum of 4 small children and wanted to do something for myself outside of minding the kids all day. My candles are handpoured in small batches in my kitchen here in Kilcock, County Kildare, Ireland. I use soy wax for my candles. Soy wax is derived from soy beans which makes it a renewable resource. There is no harm done to the planet when making it as it is plant based. Soy wax is also non-toxic and clean burning. It's made with no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants,  which means these candles are less likely to trigger allergies, pets and are safe in the homes of small babies. Therefore, soy wax is better for the environment and better for you. I am trying to be eco-conscious and all my packaging is now recyclable or biodegradable. I hope you enjoy my creations!
